The most common reason for failure of plant growth regulators, micronutrients, and foliar sprays is that growers do not apply the material at the most critical time. 12-2

The most critical times to apply Sea Spray are:
-Just prior to and during germination,
-During initial root growth
-Just prior to and during fruit set, flowering
-Just prior to harvest
-Periods of plant stress
occurring prior to and during germinating of seeds, formations of: buds, root hairs, tubers, and flowers. In fruit development and maturity, senescence(old age), dormancy of buds.
-Drought, high temperature, excess water, and expected frost.

Our general recommendations for application timing of Sea Spray should cover most of these times but may be adjusted to account for any of the above conditions.
